Hello sir, I Vikash kr sah from Naihati selected for AIEEE but unfortunately could not appear in it. Now how many times I can appear in AIEEE after missing one? Please answer me as soon as fast

Dear Fiend,

The maximum number of attempts in AIEEE is limited to 3 (three), in the consecutive years of passing the board exams.

So you can apply AIEEE for next two consecutive years....

Please note that three attempts are allowed uniformly for all the candidates in consecutive years for the AIEEE exam. The
candidates passed +2 exam in 2010, 2011 or appearing in +2 in 2012 are only eligible to appear in
AIEEE-2012. Candidates passed +2 in 2009 or before or appearing in 2013 are not eligible to
appear in AIEEE-2012.Incase if you can let us know when did you appear your class 12 exam then it will help us to answer you better.

AIEEE is the All India Engineering Entrance Exam which is an entrance exam conducted by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) every year to select candidates for the B.E/B.Tech programs in various colleges all over India.

Its conducted once every year in the month of April.

The syllabus for the AIEEE is the whole of 11th and 12th class studies and course. CBSE board syllabus is mainly followed for this entrance exam.


The Basic Eligibility Criteria's to appear for this exam are:


1. You should be a 12th pass from a recognized school or state board in India with a minimum 60% aggregate.

2. You must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths as compulsory subjects.

3. You can take a maximum 3 consecutive attempts after you give your 12th boards.


So as you have missed one attempt of the AIEEE, Now you have two more attempts left.

If you want to do B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch from AIEEE then apply for it, and then you may sit for the exam.

The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination shall be limited to 03 (three) uniformly for all the candidates in consecutive years.

Means the candidates passed +2 exam in 2010, 2011 or appearing in +2 in 2012 are only eligible to appear in AIEEE-2012. Candidates passed +2 in 2009 or before are not eligible for the AIEEE 2012

AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance Exam. This entrance exam conducted by CBSE only once in a year.
Maximum THREE times can appear for AIEEE. Already you have missing one attempt.
So, you can appear for AIEEE two attempts left.

you can apply continuously three times in a row.

Once you have missed this year means you can only attempt next two years respectively. So be prepare for it and apply it .

A.I.E.E.E. 2012 Eligibility Criteria :-

* For AIEEE a candidate needs to pass in Class 12th with Physics and Mathematics is compulsory subjects & at least one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology.

* And for Architecture Courses Mathematics is compulsory subjects in class 12th with at least 50% marks aggregate.

No, you cant apply for it after attempting 3 times AIEEE examination.
As 3 times is maximum.

And 12th passed students with phyics, mathematics & chemistry are eligible.

As you passed your 12th board in 2011 so that year only you could give attempt to AIEEE. But you missed it so Now you can attempt it only 2 times, this year & then next year.

As you have missed the first chance, so you can use your next two consecutive chances to appear for AIEEE exam.

CBSE gives three consecutive chances to candidates for cracking AIEEE Exam.

However, now AIEEE exam has been renamed as JEE Mains Exam.

There is slight modifications in JEE Mains Exam in comparison to AIEEE exam.

>> Now, 40% weightage will also be given to Board Marks for the preparation of Merit List of JEE Mains Exam.

>> If you qualify JEE Mains Exam, then you will get entry to JEE Advanced Exam.

Recently, JEE Mains Exam has been conducted in April.

It was conducted in Offline and Online both.

Result was declared on 7 May.

Now, upcoming JEE Advanced Exam will be commenced on 2 June, 2013.
