This exam is conducted only once a year. You will need to login to the UPSC site to know about the dates. This year the exam is 12th June. The application forms were available in February and March. So if you plan to appear for the exam next year you must check for notification in January on the date.

The various posts of Indian Administrative Services is filled up by Civil Services Examination
which is conducted by UPSC only once in a year. This year the last date to apply for this exam has already been passed. You can apply next year. Any further information regarding civil services examination can be obtained from civil services examination notification published by UPSC in Employment News. The notification is attached with this message. Find it into the attachments. |

IAS exam notification come only once in a year ...
and its exam is conduct under UPSC... This year notification has come and CSAT 2011 exams will be conducted on 12th June. and last date of applying for the same is 21st March...which is over .... Eligibility of it is Minimum education criteria = Graduate He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing please refer www.upsc.gov.in for further detail.... |

IAS Exam Notification is declared Only once in a year.
This Year Notification of IAS 2011 Exams was already released. And Last date of submission was already Over.......... Date of Examination : 12.06.11 |

Indian Administration Service (IAS) exam notification will releasing once in a year.
But for IAS exam there will be two papers i.e Preliminary paper and Main paper. Preliminary paper for notification for this year: Date of submission is 19th Feb 2011 Last date of submission is 21st March 2011 Exam date is 12th June 2011 If you qualify in this exam,you will eligible to apply for Main paper. IAS examination is held only once in a year. to become IAS you have to appear in civil service examination.actually there is two part of civil service examination. one is civil service preliminary examination and other is civil service main examination. only candidate those will qualify civil service preliminary examination will be eligible to appear in civil service main examination.
the eligibility criterion to appear in civil service examination is candidate should minimum of graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized university. age must be in between 21 to 30 for general category candidate. reservation are available for SC/ST candidate. civil service examination is conducted by UPSC. for more information about civil service examination visit the official website http://www.upsc.gov.in here i am attaching the total notification for civil service examination 2011. go through the attachment file. for this year submission for civil service preliminary examination already closed. the date of civil service preliminary examination is 12th June, 2011. it is a 1 day duration examination. the date of civil service main examination is 29th October, 2011. it is a 21 days duration examination. best of luck. |

Eligibility Criteria For IAS:: (i) Age limits : 21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice). (ii) Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification ALL THE BEST. |

UPSC conducts civil service exam to select students for IAS only once a year .
civil service is one of the toughest exam in the India as many students give this exam . there is huge competition.so one should prepare well . The test for IAS and IPS is conducted as civil service examination every year by UPSC. The notification of the examination is published in India's all leading newspaper along with "Employment News". The application forms are available at designated post offices/head post offices throughout the country after notification published by UPSC. IAS form is declared when there is the announcement of IAS notification.
IAS is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) only once in a year. So you can get the form once in a year. This year the IAS exam is going to be conducted on 12th June,2011 In order to be eligible for IAS, one must possess graduation from a recognized university. There is no separate Exam called IAS Exam for the candidates to be placed in IAS.
Instead, there is a single common written exam called civil services exam through which the candidates will be placed in all the civil services like Indian Administrative Service Indian Police Service Indian Revenue Service etc. The complete selection procedure will be as follows Civil Services Aptitude Test Civil Services Main Exam Interview This CSAT Exam is going to be organized by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). This Exam is being conducted once in a year. As per the required age criteria , For General category : 21-30 years For OBC category : 21-33 years For SC or ST category : 21-35 years. If you possess the above mentioned criteria, have good preparation for Civil Services Exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |
