This examination was Conducted by UPSC Every year Two times in a year. For this year Both NDA Examination was already over.

So, If you are Interested in NDA Examination, then please apply for this examination Next year. The Notification of Next year NDA (I) Examination was Going to be declared soon in the employment Newspaper OR in the Official website of UPSC.

To apply for NDA Examination, you need to complete your 12Th examination form a recognised Board and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.

There is No minimum percentage is Required to apply for NDA Examination, any 12Th passed candidates may fill the NDA Application form Online and you have already scored good marks in your 12Th examination, so you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination, only if your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.

The Notification of NDA (I) Examination was Going to be declared on 31/Dec/2011 and the last date of apply for NDA (I) Examination was 30/Jan/2012, the examination was Going to be held on 15/April/2012.

• You must have either completed or appearing in class 12th or equivalent examination from science srteam with maths as cumpulsory subject.

Sir, you did not have mention your current stream from which you have passed your 12th.
for appear in NDA for naval & air force wing you must have maths & physics passed with at least 60%.

a candidate for applying NDA exam must have 12th in Physics,chemistry & mathematics.
and age between 16.5 to 19,without any age relaxation.
UPSE every year conduct 2 times NDA exam.so this year alredy both NDA condected.so you can apply NDA (I) for year 2012.
the NDA notification publish in the 31/12/2012 and last application date for Post is 30/01/2012,
so you can use this period for more prepartion for NDA.
because NDA is a chance to join defence after 12th.

There is no standard set regarding the percentage of marks in the +2 level of exam. If you have qualified the exam, you will be considered eligible provided you fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
For Air Force and Naval wing of NDA, you must have studied Maths and Physics in the +2 level.
You must have attained the age of 16 1/2 years.
You must not be over 19 years.

So, if you fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above, you will be eligible to apply for the NDA exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

Actually NDA exam is conducted through UPSC.So,if you are interested then you have to pass 12th standard with min 60% to 65% marks.Your age limit should be 17 to 19.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy

NDA is a national level examination held every year, organized by UPSC. It mainly recruits candidates for the Army, Navy and Air Force wings in the Indian Defense system.

Eligibility Conditions :

1. Only Unmarried Male candidates can apply.

2. Age of the applicants should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

3. They should have passed 12th boards with a minimum of 50% marks.

4. Maths is a compulsory subject that one should have studied in 12th is he is applying for the Naval or Air wings.

You have not mention here , your current stream in 12th.
Through NDA examination , one can apply for all combat branches of the Indian army, i.e..
Naval wing,
air force wing
military branch.

For apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE WING, you must have 12th degree with physics & maths with at least 60%.
But for apply in military branch, you just need the 12th degree from a recognized board in any stream.
The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,.there is not any kind of age relaxations are applicable for any reserved category.

So, if you have science stream in 12th with maths, then you can apply for all branches of the Indian army.
The other eligibility criteria are-
You must have Indian nationality.
You must posses marital status unmarried.

In order to join the NDA , you need to have the following qualifications:-

1.) 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 70%

2.) Only unmarried male candidates are allowed.

3.) Age limitation is between 16.5 -19 years.

4.) Minimum height -157 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

5.) Eyesight should be 6/6 of both the eyes.

So , if you fall in this criteria , then you can apply for it.

Yes, your eligible for the NDA.
In order to join the NDA, you have to clear the UPSC exam and SSB interview. There are two batches every year. One starting in Jan and the other in Jul.

The UPSC exam consists of a 900 marks exam in 2 different papers. 300 marks for Maths and 600 for Physics, Chemistry, English, History, Geography, G.K, IQ etc. You will have to select your service Army, Navy or Airforce while filling up your UPSC form. Once a service has been selected it can not be changed. Be careful while filling the form.
Once you selected the 3 years training will be given which is free of cost .

for the exam of NDA national defense academy, is held twice in a year. This exam is conducted by upsc. The eligibility for appearing in the NDA exam is, that you should be 12th passed and your age should be in between 16.5-19 years of age. If you're interested in the air force wing, then it is compulsory for you to have physics and mathematics as your main subjects in 12th. If you fulfill these categories, then you can apply for the NDA exam.
