Actually, I appeared in 10 2 exam this year& i'm sure to pass out .so iwant to know that how many year will take to complete polytechnic after passing 10 2? Can someone please provide me the information soon as possible? I just wanted to know the details to ensure that I will apply for polytechnic course after my 12th grade!

Candidates who want to apply must pass his/her class 10th from a recognized board.General Candidate pass 10th with atleast 60% marks and SC/ST with 50% marks.

The duration of this course is 3 years for 10th pass and 2 years for 12th pass.Candidate age should not more than 25 years.

Fee for Polytechnic course is 15000 per semester and 26500 per year.

According to the new rule of Polytechnic admissions,if the candidate has completed 12th with Science stream,then he/she can get admission directly in the second year of Polytechnic course.As you have passed 12th class, the duration of the course for you will be 2 years only.

For your information keep in mind Polytechnic course is meant for diploma/diploma engineering in various streams.This course academic duration is 3(three years).

Generally students completing 1oth avail the opportunity to do polytechnic course.

!0+3 known as diploma course,after passing 12th standard with PCM a candidate should go for b.tech 4 years' engineering graduate level course to avail multiple bright opportunities.

Though there is provision after completing diploma a student doing lateral entry can do
graduate course.

After 12th you can also get admission for polytechnic course directly at 2nd year.

Diploma Polytechnic courses :-

1.Diploma in Civil Engineering.

2.Diploma in Electric Engineering.

3.Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

4.Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Diploma is a 3 years duration course which is done by students after 10th.

But after 12th science (PCM) the student get admission in diploma 2nd year. However the student has to given some 2nd semester subjects exam.

Diploma offers many courses, but here are some common courses which are easily available in many institutes.
Diploma in-

4. Electrical engineering

So, it is clear that there is total 2 years require to complete diploma after 12th.

It takes only two years to complete polytech after 10+2. Eligibility Criteria for taking admission through lateral entry is:
Pass with 40-60% aggregate marks in 10th or 12th subject to qualifying entrance exam. You can diploma in
