Yes sure you can do B.Tech after completing diploma in polytecnic.
But for this you have give lateral entry exams which will be held in institute in which you want to take admission. Than after qualifying it you must get entry in second year of B.Tech.
And you must have 60% or above in your diploma.

B.Tech is 4 year engineering program. Generally students get admitted in B.Tech course after 12th (PCM).

But there is a lateral entry for polytechnic (diploma) students, through which students get admission to direct 2nd year in selected stream.

So, only 3 years take to complete B.Tech after polytechnic.

Eligibility for BTech after polytechnic:
> Student have minimum 60% in diploma.

> Student does not have any backlog subject in diploma.

> Indian resident

>10th marksheet & all semester marksheets of diploma is necessary.

Dear Aspirant,
It will take you three years to complete your B.tech degree after completing your diploma.
Once you clear your diploma with more than 60% in aggregate you are eligible to apply for B.tech through Lateral entry.
it will take you to second year direct.
contact that institute or board which offers Lateral entry or allow admission through LEET.

I have completed 10th with 81% in 2014. Now, I have completed 2 with 71% but failed in maths. Is it possible to join poly technical and after diploma in biomedical engineering can I join b.tech in biomedical engineering?
