Re: How much fee is needed to become a Pilot?
To become a pilot, aspirants need to join Air flying schools after completion of 10+2, they should pass the 10+2 exam with physic, chemistry, math. Minimum marks should be 50%.So, you have to complete 10+2 to appear for any pilot training ....
They need to clear the entrance test exam of the flying schools in India, they also need to clear the physical fitness (Which is tough one). The training period is usually around 12 months. The completion of which enables you to become a pilot or first officer on board. The first officer refers to the actual designation given to the pilot, and is often referred to as the 'copilot'. First officers can upgrade to captain/commander depending on their seniority Only totally fit person can get opportunity to get admission in flying schools. Don’t confuse with the job of pilot of Indian air Force. IAF pilot is selected through NDA exam, training is free!!!!! But if opt for private training it will be very costly.... They need to clear the entrance test exam of the flying schools in India, some will be state owned and some will be private.. State-owned
Private :

Re: How much fee is needed to become a Pilot?
There r two way to become a pilot, one through indian air force and second through flying club/acedamy.for first way qualification is bsc.with math subject and have to appear in short service commission exam.for second way your qualification should be 10+2 with maths and have to register in any flying club/institute Fee for first option is nil, while for second option you have to pay approx. 22 lakhs rupees for personal pilot licence(PPL) after that you are eligible for commercial pilot licence(CPL). you may get loan to get the course after registration with flying club/institute.

there are two ways to become a pilot. First one is joining the indian air force as pilot, and, second one is becoming a commercial pilot after undergoing training in private or govt academy. Re: How much fee is needed to become a Pilot?
hi
look there are two modes of entry into IAF NDA for this a candidate must have passed 12 with maths and physics with a minimum of 55% the exam is conducted by upsc if you clear the exam then you have to pass the medical examination II and I both. then you'll be given training which will be free.... you may also become a pilot by joining some private flying training institute but that will cost you expensive since its fee is around 18 lac -20 lac so i would suggest you to give the exam |

Re: How much fee is needed to become a Pilot?
Training to becoming a pilot is an expensive proposition.
however you will earn handsomely. for ex. the fees at the premier flying school indira gandhi rastriya uran academy, rae bariellly are above 16 lakhs for cpl+ppl. the 18 month cpl course who alredy have ppl course wil cost around 12 lakhs+ the cost is very high and even after the initial licence you have to get an airline endorsement means training on large aircraft. the total cost now depends on different aircrafts but the estimating cost is 15 lakhs+. AIR FORCE OFFICER this is one of the best way if you are intrested in becoming a ilot through NDA OR CDSE. Here you need to have maths and physics as a compulsory subjects for appearing in nda. and for CDSE yo need to have your graduation degree. once you steeped into defence forces you need not to worry about the fees. |

you may become a pilot be either giving the entrance exam or by joining some private flying school private flying school will be too heavy on your pocket since its fees is 20 lac there are two exams to become a commercial pilot 1. NDA this exam is conducted by upsc for this you must have completed 10+2 with physics and maths as compulsary subjects... you must be 16.5 or above in age 2. Re: How much fee is needed to become a Pilot?
To become a pilot, you have to crack NDA exam. After that if you get selection in that very exam, your training will be free of cost. But if you want to take admission any private college, it can be very costly for you.
To take admission in any air flying institute, you must complete your intermediate first with PCM subjects and minimum 50% marks. Your physical fitness is also very much essential to enter in flying institute so consult your doctor also before sitting in this exam. |
