i want to do m.tech in iit around how much score and how much rank i should get to get placed in iit's

To get admission in IIT, you have to get more than 600 marks in
gate exams, only then you will get admission in m.tech in IIT.

As far as i know, generally above 93-96 Percentile is needed to get into IITs.

IITs follow the cut off criteria, and the students getting more than the above mentioned score gets the call from IITs.

you should get above 97 percentile to make it to the iit's and iisc....

it depends on your stream.if you have CSE then cut off marks is 25.you ust get at least 98 percentile to get into IIT.

For a gate score above 548, you get a direct iit call.
You need to clear 25/100, to come in the ranking of eligibility for counselling.
Rest is a list on the organising iit or iisc body home site.

For a score above 850, you get a direct counselling call.
You need to clear 25 marks,as taken by new format to come in the ranking of eligibility for counselling.
Rest is a list on the organising iit body, home site.

you must have scored more than 550 to get into IIT's........or you can say you percentage should be 96 - 97 % in gate exam........

Dear friend score always depends on paper i.e. the toughness of the paper.

If the paper is hard then surely you will have a less cut off means you will get admission in less marks and if the paper is easy then the cut off is high i.e. you need more marks to get selected.

So nothing can be said about the marks.

the gate score you required to join the iits depend upon the stream which you want to select,if you are looking for the stream like electronics,computer,it,then you have to score well and your rank should be wiyhin 2000 to get the iits .

According to past record you have to score above 95Pecentile then you have chance to get in iit.
For this you have to work hard very much.

iit takes at a pass marks in b.tech.
though you try out 60% cut off,rest good gate score above 550

To get into the IIT's for Mtech, your score must be above 700, with a percentile 93 and up for better ranked institute.

to get iit for m.tech you should need very %although it varies stream to stream but in general.for

Every year cut off percentile for getting admission to IITs varies .
You have to give your best and
you have to work hard for good percentile
To get admission to IITs your percentile must be above 90
then only you can have chance to get IITs.
You can join coaching for GATE like GATE forum.
As they provide study materials and easy tricks to solve the paper .Don't go for wrong answers as their is negative marking for each wrong answers.

hii, to join in IIT s you need to get around 96 percentile and within 300 rank.

As i knows that you have to score above 600marks.by seeing the previous year cut off also you will not get admission in IITs but you will get in NITs. Try it for next time to get good marks i.e above 600.

For getting admission in IIT through GATE you must score above 97 percentile.

To get IIT's your score must be above 600
Your rank must be under 300.

For NIT's your score must be above 450.
You must under 1000 rank to get NIT's

The cut off mark for IIT is above 600 marks and precenatage 93-98%

To take admission in IIT's or in any top colleges, PSU you have to score atleast 600 marks out of Total 1000 Marks in GATE.
Gate score card is valid only for one year, So if you don't get the college as per your choice, so please don't waste your one year, confirm your seat in other top college in M.Tech course.
