To get admission in government engineering college for Bachelors degree program you must be 10+2 pass with atleast 45% aggregate marks in science stream with mathematics as a compulsory subject, from a recognized school/board.

You will also have to clear you AIEEE or equivalent entrance examination conducted by AICTE (CBSE).

hy,
in order to join govt colleges like IIT,NITs,DCE, you have to score well in their respective exams.you need to score atleast 80% in each exam for a safe position.
