How much is the percentage required in 12th to join NDA?


How many % in 12 class for join nda...please tell me how much is it

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is conducted by UPSC Twice in a year for the Recruitment of Army, Naval and Air Force Wings .

If you have completed 12th standard from science background then you are applicable for all post conducted by NDA .But commerce and Arts stream are applicable only Indian army post.

Final year of 12th standard candidate are also applicable.

Note:-NDA exam not require any kind of percentage marks in 12th or 10th standard .

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years old.You must be unmarried male candidate and you have citizenship of India.

Selection process for NDA exam are written Test, Physical Test ,Medical Test and Personal Interview.So you can prepare all round .

Pattern for NDA exam:-

NDA exam pattern are really simple if you can prepare well to your 12 th standard subject then definitely you can cracked this exam.but you should polish on your GK section



Physical Standards :-

You can compare this standard with yourself if you have fulfill the below given chart then definitely you can apply here.Otherwise first fulfill this criteria then apply.because this Physical test are too tough .

NDA ((National Defence Academy)

Percentage is not required for this exam.

Educational Criteria:
12th standard from a recognised state or central board.

For airforce and navy wings you must have PCM subjects in 12th standard.

NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e
  • NDA-I
  • NDA-II.
This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

NDA has three wings:
Indian army,
Indian airforce,
Indian navy.


Age criteria:
Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.
There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Nationality:Citizen of india.

Important note:
Girls are not eligible for this exam, only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
You must be physically fit.

Selection procedure:
Written test,
SSB interview,
Medical test.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. If you want to apply for this exam then you must have completed your 12th. NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year. candidate should have done his qualification from a well recognized board and candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

Eligibility for NDA Exam:
The candidate should have completed 12th with PCM as main or compulsory subjects.

The candidate should have completed 12th from a recognized college.

The candidate's age should be between 16.5 to 19 years only.

The candidate must be a citizen of India.

The candidate should be an unmarried candidate.
PROCEDURE of NDA Exam:

*Written test
*SSB interview
*Medical and fitness test.
Paper Pattern:
There are 2 papers comes in NDA exam:

1. Mathematics: This is termed as paper-1 which is of 3oo marks.

You have to attempt all the questions in 2.5 hours and there is a negative marking of one third marks. The questions will be of basic mathematics such as:

Algebra
Trigonometry
Quadratic equations
Geometry
Menstruations
Probability

2.General ability test- this is termed as paper-2 which is of 600 marks.
The paper will consist of questions from different topics such as:-

Physics and chemistry
General knowledge
Current affair and general science

THE selected candidates will be called for SSB interview on the respective boards of army,air force and navy for further testing.

* The Acronym "NDA" stands for National Defence Academy.

* The Union Public Service Commission has the sole right to conduct NDA Examination twice every year as NDA - I & NDA - II.

* The Eligibility Criteria required to set yourself eligible to appear in this examination are mentioned below :

--> You must be a citizen of India.

--> You must be an unmarried male.

--> You must have passed your 12th with a minimum of 45% marks from any recognized board.

--> Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years.

--> You must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics as your main subjects.

--> You must be physically and mentally fit.

Future cadets are trained in the training institution of National Defence Academy. NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice a year. On getting selected you will be sent to the academy for training purpose.

NDA Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:

You shoul be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India on or before January, 1962.

Gender:

Interview:

On qualifying in the written exam you will be called for the interview session which is conducted by the Services Selection Board. For the army and navy wing there is the intelligence and personality test but for the air force wings there is one special test which is called the Pilot Aptitude Test. This whole interview session is of great importance and so you can afford to take this one lightly at all.

Medical Examination:

To apply for this exam one needs to be physically fit and free from all disabilities because otherwise he wont be able to perform his military duties properly.

Therefore weak constitution, under weight or over weight problem or height problem can be one reason why they may reject you even if you get good marks in the written exam.
