Hi,

CA-Charted Accountancy.

ICAI-Institute of Charted Accountants Of India.

CA ,conducted by ICAI.It is membership qualification in ICAI.

CA has three levels

1)CPT

A entry level,competitive multiple choice question

2)IPC-Intermediate Professional Course

Part I and Part II

Group I four subjects.

Three year auditship programe.

Group II has three subjects

3)Final

8 subjects.

GMCS-General Management And Communication Skill ,a 15 days training compulsory training.

Graduates can have direct entry in IPC,with minimum 55% marks for B.COM

with minimum 60 % marks for non commerce,other graduate degree holder.

Commerce Graduates needs to score minimum aggregate of 55% marks in B.COM to get exemption from appearing in the CPT exams.

If you score more than 55% marks in B.COM than you get direct admission to the IPCC Stage of the CA programme


If you do not posses minimum 55% marks than you have to enrol for the CPT Stage
Pass the CPT stage and than get admission in the IPCC Stage


Papers of IPCC


Group one
1st paper Advanced Accounting 100 Marks

2nd Paper Law, Ethics and Communication
This paper has three parts:
Part I: Law 60 Marks
Part II: Business Ethics 20 Marks
Part III: Business Communications 20 Marks

3RD Paper : Cost Accounting and Financial Management
This Paper has 2 parts
Part I Cost Accounting 50 Marks
Part II Financial Management 50 Marks

4th Paper Taxation
Part I Income-tax [50 Marks]
Part II Service tax 25 Marks & VAT 25 Marks


Group Two

Paper 5 Advanced Accounting 100 Marks

Paper 6 Auditing and Assurance 100 Marks

Paper 7 Information Technology and Strategic Management
This Paper has two parts
Part 1 Information Technology 50 Mark
Part 2 Strategic Management 50 Marks

i belong to sc category. can i get any relief in percentage to take admission in ipcc? i have completed my graduation with 52 percentage . can i also apply from delhi university .
how much time will there be take to complete c.a after done b.com( C.A)?
