Can I apply for counselling to get admission in any good college if scored 15.33 marks in GATE?


Hi all,
My GATE score is 168 and my GATE rank is 9881. My cutoff marks is 15.33. But I am not eligible as the eligiblity is 16.67 marks. Can I apply for counselling if so can I get any goood colleges?

You must have mistaken something since getting a rank in GATE means you have scored above the cutoff score. Since you have a rank of 9881so you can definitely attend counselling but you will not get good colleges to pursue M.Tech. This is because:-
- There are less number of seats in universities as compared to the b.tech intake for m.tech course.
- The seats are filled up within rank of 2000.

So,it is not possible for you to get good college.
