Graduation is the minimum educational qualification required to join CBI. Recruitment is carried out on the basis of CGPE EXAM conducted by UPSC. Minimum age limit is 20 years and upper age limit is 25 years. There will be written test as well as physical test for this exam. Candidates belonging to reserved categories can seek relaxation in upper age limit.

There are people in general cast have done higher education like M Tech. etc. after doing a low profile job in private sector to gather money for higher education.In this process he looses age. But now he is not eligible for govt post like IES, IPS,etc. AIR INDIA, Bank or Any other engineering services under central govt. What is the hurdle of increasing the age limit up to 36 years for general cast. They will also com-pit within the general quota. as because general cast are not eligible for other quota. It will benefit India to hold talent. Age bar of the candidate can not improve nation. please urgently look in to the matter. and implement the policy.
