i want to be a fashion designer....so i want to know how can i prepare for nift exam???????

there is an exam conducted by the nift.you have to clear it,
also you should have certain minimum eligibility criteria,for that look into educational column of THE HINDU paper on 28-12-09

you are persuing your graduation and after completing this you can go and fill the form of NIFT and there is entrance exam for this after completing this exam you can take there admission in master degree, and for the preparation you can go to the website where you can find the detail about the syllabus for the exam by that you could prepare for that

The better way is to join a good coaching for it,they will provide you complete guidence for it,the required study materials,how to tackle the problems there etc.

However, you can also prepare for it yourself,if you have full resourses for it.

It is better you go to some coaching centers so that they will train you or based on the test start preparing the aptitude and other stuffs from R.S.Agarwal for best.

you should have good drawing skill and high level of creativity. this will help a lot

NID NIFT Entrance exams can be cracked without joining any coaching classes. If you are really keen on joining such prestigious institute, you can self study through books. Hasit Dave. Arkin Institute.

the field of accessory designing and textile styling are fast evolving.see colleges are fine but the essence is that you need to have a grasp over the knowledge of aptitude,g,k and design acknowledgement

To join NIFT you should clear the entrance exam conducted by it.
The exam will be in February.keep visiting the www.nift.ac.in for notification.

To clear the entrance you should have basic problem solving skills of mathematics, drawing basic figures like of doctor,etc.,aptitude is also must.

to become a fashion designer from NIft is really agood career.
After 12 you can appear in Nift exam
Or
after graduation also you can sit and apply for post graduation
The exam is not very tough and should have command on english and be creative guy

Honestly speaking, NIFT is not such a tough exam.. u need not really try hard.Most of people who landed here are failed CAT attempts(no offense meant!!)
Try the question papers, download it from niftindia.com website.

As far as my knowledge is concerned, NIFT takes the services of consultant to conduct entrance test.. Paper do have certain questions based on fabric science book, also on fashion , entertainment, lakme india weeks, indian movies fashion trends etc.. Be fashion conscious..English is easy.. quant might be a bit tricky.. GK based on fashion is easy & scoring, & it will make the difference.

because u r bcom. student u have required 8 weeks,i mean 2months experience certificate.
