[I]I want to do MA english and also iwant to prepare for civils give me suggestions how to prepare

Well if ur going for Civils with MA English

U would perform really great in the english paper as well as essay paper in mains.

But i would suggest u to read current affairs, history geography and polity for prelims part.

But for optionals select any two from below

As ur from MA english u can opt for english as one of your subjects,

select other optional which suits u better ( Consider factors : study material , coaching facility, previous year success rate of subject , most important ur interest in the subject )

but i would like to suggest : public admin / history / geography

as they wud help in prelims as well as main and a bit few for essay also.
