see as you're a engineering student. It should be very easy to make these kind of decisions. anyways if you love engineering subjects and want to do something new i.e., like inventing something which is useful for others like a scientist who strive to find out something . then you are recommended to take up M.Tech course which will make more chances to you towards the goal of invention. and also one more thing if you want to do research then also M.Tech is the most useful degree for you. if you want to make money simply take up MBA course which is the gateway for a bright future in terms of pay packages. I don't mean that you will not get money that is high pays if you are a M.tech graduate but comparitively you will get less pay than MBA graduate see here some conditions apply like the M.Tech or MBA from IIT's or IIM's are only the degree which I'm talking about. the degree courses from other colleges are mere waste in my view instead of doing that degrees you can do job and increase your experience at least. Its your interest and what skills you possess if you have good Technical skills simply go for M.Tech if you have good Managerial skills then go for MBA course if you don't have any of these better do job and know what is the actual job market and competition level. then you will only know which course to take up. Civil's is completely different it brings you a responsible job if you successfully clear the examination process. that means you will become IAS/IPS officer if you can clear the entrance examination here you should not bother about pay packages the respect from the people and the responsibility towards society and the government are more valuable than the bugs what they give. if you want to serve your motherland then go for this option. All the best I have provided what all I can its all up to your interest now. Regards ~AdityA~ |

1. M.Tech: if you are going in this field you are increasing your knowledge in this place. you'll get a better placement. and have a great future. 2.MBA: if you are choosing this field then you are chnaging your field of specialisation. it doesn't help you to go far unless you get your MBA degree from a good reputed institutes like IIMs. you have also mentioned that you want to go in civil services. so it is also better. then there is no need of getting M.Tech or MBA degree. it is better to prepare for civil services now. best wishes..... |
