Re: How to prepare for PCM subject of class 12th CBSE board?
You should divide the topics in to small subtopics and complete each topic thoroughly. You should keep a note of all important points in a note pad. You can use this for reference later. You should daily practice maths, physics and chemistry. You should solve old question papers available in internet and also in market. By this you will get to know the pattern of the paper. You should give importance all the key points as these may be asked in short answer type questions. You should practice maths, physics problems nicely. You should keep a chart of all the formulas in chemistry and revise the same regularly.

TIPS TO PREPARE FOR PCM ( Physics, Chemistry, Maths ) CBSE BOARD As you know PCM subject is the heart of XII grade, you have to score good marks in all the 3 subjects to maintain a good cut-off. -> Try to spend more time in these subjects for preparation instead spending time in Language, English and other subjects.. I don't mean that you should concentrate only on PCM subject but prioritize in a way that these 3 will always be in the top... -> Maintain a proper schedule daily, which in sense spend some quality time for all 3 subjects daily.. as you know we human tend to forget things easily so it will be better if you prepare for all 3 subjects daily.. -> Spend 1 hr for each subject a day that will be more than enough and go according to the syllabus.. -> Try to cover all the topics given in the syllabus, so that you will be more confident when you attend the final exam... -> Refer previous year papers and understand the pattern of questions followed and prepare for those questions first which are asked again and again in the exams... -> I have attached some of the previous year model papers of PCM exam in this post for your reference.. check it out if needed... -> To get more tips for exam preparation, check my post CLICK HERE!!! -> Any more queries, feel free to leave a post in our forum... Re: How to prepare for PCM subject of class 12th CBSE board?
I can explain you.
In physics, you will have more derivations and problems, I can suggest you to study the theory concepts at last week, because you can mug up them easily. Until then practice more problems and understand the derivations clearly. In chemistry, you will have many chemical reactions and equations and chemical names. Read those equations clearly and remember them. Its little difficult but you must do that with some ideas. Maths, as always just practice at least 20 sums in each model. In exam, for most of the problems you can't get answers directly, you need to do something different. So i suggest you to practice those kind of problems. For other subjects like language and english you can study at last time itself and need not concentrate much. |

Re: How to prepare for PCM subject of class 12th CBSE board?
dear
it's good to refer to your NCERT books.Actually all or most of the questions in the board exams come from your NCERT part only. For extra knowledge you should go for the following books: CHEMISTRY - enrich your chemistry with xtra shots 20-20 PHYSICS - ABC of physics MATHS - A.S. Aggarwal TIME ALLOTMENT: give atleast 1 hour to each subject everyday ----best is to spend maximum hours on a holiday like every sunday----- hope you will be satisfied.. |

Keep referring to books periodically, so that you have everything afresh in mind. Consult reference books and randomly solve questions at random times. Take mock tests seriously. Re: How to prepare for PCM subject of class 12th CBSE board?
for PCM divide your subject topics according to time left for exams....
do not study for more than 45 minutes continuously .. take a short break after every 45 minutes. do not study too many fresh topics on the same day......... during evening revise what you have learnt the whole day......... mathematics and physics needs daily practice .so practice them a lot........ try to solve CBSE sample papers.......of all the three subjects that will help you to be more clear about short topics and will give a review of board pattern...... sleep well .and drink water a lot because during peak time of study mind requires a lot of oxygen....... give preference to ncert first then jump on to other helping books....... if you are taking tutions then give as many test as you can...this will increase your speed , learning skill, and will also help you to tackle question paper........ all the very best.......... for further queries . do not hesitate to post in our forum....... with warm regards, ajay |

Re: How to prepare for PCM subject of class 12th CBSE board?
Now you must have to remeber that you have only two months in hand . So you have to select the most important question for exam and only have to prepare those one. And next one is you should prepare the previous year question paper for better results.

Re: How to prepare for PCM subject of class 12th CBSE board?
Heyy Buddy,
As said there is no shortcut to success so you need to prepare harder in order to secure better results . but its okay you still have two months timeand two months is enough to cover up the entire score. I suggest you to read the NCERT books completely and keep working on your basics. You can follow some reference books like HC VERMA for PHYSICS OP TANDON for CHEMISTRY EXAM IDEA for BIOLOGY. I hope this helps you out in scoring some good marks. Thank you All the best. |
