There could be package difference.
Most Important thing in MBA is that from which Institution student has done his/her MBA and how much he /she has learned from there . If you get selected in a college which is of average reputation it might be possible that you would get low salary as compare to the Institutions which are having high reputation. You should do Regular MBA from Reputed B-School for high Salary Package like IIM's if you could leave your Job for while or there is also a option for Part- time MBA for working Profession. You have Good 4 years Experience in Software Company Part- time MBA Option could also prove very Beneficial as these Reputed B-School also offer MBA part-time but work experience could vary as some institutions even demand at least 5 years of Experience in any field and also Conduct Entrance Examination. It is Better to Do MBA from Good institution whether do it Regular or Part-time as these Instiutions hold years of Experience in teaching . Reputed B-School follow 3 stages to select the right candidate for MBA programme offered by their institution. 1. MBA Entrance Exam Score (like CAT, MAT and any other exam) 2. Group Discussion 3. Personal Interview BEST PART-TIME/EXECUTIVE MBA INSTITUTE IIM Bangalore IIM Calcutta IIM Lucknow (FMS) UNIVERSITY OF DELHI Jamanalal Bajaj Institute of Management studies (JBIMS) XLRI Jamshedpur Indian Institute of Foreign Trade – IIFT Indian School of Business ISB Hyderabad TOP 10 REGULAR MBA COLLEGES IN INDIA 1. Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad, Ahmedabad 2. Indian Institute of Management – Calcutta, Kolkata 3. Indian Institute of Management – Bangalore, Bangalore 4. Indian School of Business, Hyderabad 5. Xavier’s Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur 6. Indian Institute of Management – Lucknow, Lucknow 7. Faculty of Management Studies – University of Delhi, Delhi 8. Indian Institute of Management – Indore, Indore 9. Indian Institute of Management – Kozhikode, Kozhikode 10. Hi
With 4 year of experience you can go for both. however, it would be good for you if you go for regular two year MBA as MBA is a practical oriented course and you would get lot to learn on campus. Your four year of work ex will help you in admission as admission criteria have some weightage for work ex and since you have worked for four year, it would help you understand various concept easily. Executive MBA is done when you have good work ex and you cant spend two year in studies. Many times company finance your one year of executive MBA and then absorb you at higher position with high pay. all the best |

Hi,
If you prefer full time MBA, you can give entrance exam and get seat in preferred college. If you want to do part time along with your job, you can choose evening college or distance education. |
