How should I prepare for Civil services exam? Books to be referred?
Good Afternoon,
I am student of b.com final I would like to know how should I prepare for civil services exams. Which books I would refer and in what what other ways I should prepare for exams like I.A.S and P.C.S. . I will be thankful to you. |

Preparation fo civil services exam:
One important thing that candidates should keep in mind is that since the time between the Main Exam and the declaration of result of the Preliminary Exam is very less, it is advisable to begin preparations of the Main Exam along with the Preliminary Exam. It may be advisable to join a coaching institute so that one keeps in touch with other students and discuss issues with them. It is important, however, to select a good institute. However, one can be successful by self-study also. </SPAN>You need focused study of subjects. You should analyze the syllabus, and hard work is needed to crack this examination. You need to have good knowledge of current affairs and our history and administration. It’s important to have some reading habits as that will help you to keep yourself updated about the current affairs. Read lots of magazines.Also you should be strong in aptitude and the subjects that you have chosen or will choose. During your graduation course you are choosing for Civil Services is really appreciable.
