Hi
I want to prepare for Punjab Civil services exam. This would be my first attempt.
I also have to choose my subject. Pl help me in selection of optional subject and refer me the books n sylabus i need to cover for it. Pl tell me every detail of it.

How much time duration is needed for sure preparation for this exam?

PCS - Punjab Civil services.

Eligibility Criteria -

A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution

No candidate shall be eligible for appearing in the Preliminary Competitive Examination, unless he/she has passed the Matriculation Examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.

Age should be between 21 -37 years.

Total Number of attempts - Four

Exam details-

There are 3 stages - Preliminary, Main and interview.

Preliminary exam - - Objective type.

Essay (Compulsory)
Note:The candidate may opt to write the Essay either in English or Punjabi (in Gurmukhi Script)

Is computer science included in optional subject for Preliminary and main exam or not????

Is it mandatory to opt the optional subject in mains, which we have opt in prelims?
