The MBA course usually has the following curriculum in most of the B-Schools:

The first year covers the following subject areas:
Finance and accounting
Marketing
Personnel and Operations Management,
Basic principles of economics
In the second year, you will study about the subject area you have selected for specialization, which could be Human Resource, Finance, Insurance etc.
If you are a fresher and don't have work experience, you should definitely go for regular classes in a reputed B-School and if you hold working experience, you may go for the distance mode of MBA offered by any recognized university.
