UP SLET is conducted to appoint lecturers by respective state. If you have completed master's degree , then you are eligible to apply for SLET.

Application Procedure
- Visit the official site.
- Click "Apply Online".
- Fill the required details in application form.
- Upload photograph & Signature.
- Click "Save & Next".
- Download bank challan.
- Deposit the fee at bank.
- Log In & Fill the challan detail.
- Print the acknowledgement slip.

Important Dates
- Registration Starts From : February , 2016
- Last Date to Apply : April , 2016
- UP SLET Exam : May , 2016

UP SLET stands for Uttar Padesh State Level Eligibility Test.
Only the candidates of UP can appear in UP SLET in order to attain post of lecturer.
Candidates who have passed Master degree program in any disciple from a recognized university with more than 55% marks can appear in SLET.
Candidates who will appear in final year examination of Master degree in the year of SLET examination are also eligible to appaer.
SC/ST candidates only need more than 50% marks to appear in SLET.
There is no maximum age limit to appear in SLET.
Candidates can appear as many times as possible.

Notification for UP SLET comes in August and candidates can apply in month of September.
The dates are not clear and it may changes, so, candidates need to regularly updated about UP SLET either by visiting official website regularly or the news provided by State government.

UP SLET is the Uttar Pradesh State Level Eligibility Test which is conducted by the Uttar pradesh state board.The official dates of announcement has not yet been released for the 2016 years and it will be released soon

There are no age limits and number of attempts for this SLET examination and you can take up this SLET examination after your graduation or post graduation with at least 55% of the marks.

Selection Process:
Selection will done through the written test conducted by the SLET and depending on the qualifying marks you will be short listed.

Required eligibility:

1. There are no age limits and can appear any number of times for the SLET examination
2. Should have attained graduate or post graduate course of study with minimum 55% of the marks in your degree or masters degree candidates can appear in the finale year of the degree also.

Uttar Pradesh State Level Eligibility Test (UP SLET) is common SLET Examination to all candidates of state Uttar Pradesh.

One who has pursued post graduation degree with minimum 55% is eligible for UP SLET. There is 5% marks concession for special category (SC/ST) candidates.
