Is this possible to attend SLET 2016 exam , before completing M.E?

You are in 2nd year of M.E degree so you are eligible for SLET exam 2016.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for SLET exam 2016. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Final year candidates are eligible for SLET exam.

There is no age criteria.

SLET stands for State Level Eligibility Test. It is also commonly known as SET.
It is conducted by all State governments and some universities for lectureship only.
Candidates who have passed Master degree or equivalent in any disciple with more than 55% marks from a recognized university can appear for SLET.
SC/ST candidates need only more than 50% marks in Master degree program to appear in SLET.
Candidate appearing in final year examination of Master degree program are also eligible to appear in SLET.
There is no limit for candidates to appear in SLET.

Validity of the SLET qualified certificate is forever.

As mentioned, you are in second year of Master degree program then you can appear for SLET if you are going to appear for final examination of second year Master degree in the year of SLET examination.

SLET is the State Level eligibility test which is conducted every year for the selection of candidates in to the universities and institutes for the lecturers and professors.

As you are doing your M.E which is the Masters degree course and as you are the finale year of the Masters degree you can apply for the SLET examination 2016.

SLET examination requires certain eligibility criteria to be full filled such as

1. Should have completed graduation with at least 55% of the marks or the post graduate finale year candidates can apply for the recruitment
2. There are no age requirements for the SLET examination

SLET stands for State Level Eligibility Test conducted for recruitment of lecturers & professors in universities and colleges.

The minimum qualification for SLET is , candidate must have completed Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities recognised by UGC with minimum 55% marks & there is 5% concession for spec category candidates or candidate who is in final year of masters degree is eligible.

So, it is possible to appear for SLET being a 2nd year i.e. final year student of masters degree.
