Dear Friend Yes, You cannot become pilot. Since u have Spectacles. But you can become an areonotical engg. who can built a airoplane. If you are interested in aerospace only you can join the engg and then u shall find many ways to work in the field. Best of luck |

dear friend
Yes you become a pilot, If your vision is 20/20 with corrective lenses. Many commercial pilots wear glasses. So, As long as your distance vision is correctable to 20/20 and your near vision is correctable to 20/40 with your glasses on, you can become a commercial pilot............. ok all the best. |

you do not need perfect eyesight to become a Commercial Pilot. As long as your eyesight can be corrected to near normal then you can hold the Commercial Pilot licence.however
you know what a pilot job is and why it asks for a perfect eyesight..try to get your eyesight corrected if that is possible for you, then you are on for pilot or else try in some other prospering field.. |

yes you can definitely get a CPL if your vision is correctable to 20/20 by using contact lenses or spectacles, but but but i have checked on the criteria which different airliners(airindia and the rest) set for their pilots:
1 it should be perfect 20/20 without any corrective lenses 2 they should be graduates just live being graduate is not mandatory for getting a CPL but airlines ask for it, similarly you can have get a CPL with glasses but finding a job will be difficult. |
