Re: If i opt for Arts then which subjects should I choose in IAS?
IAS is stands for Indian Administrative Service and is conducted by upsc every year.
The candidate who have compleated their graduation or under last year may apply for IAS. For IAS your age may be within 21years to 30 years for genarel catagory and 3years relixion for OBC and 5years for SC/ST candidate. There are three stages in examination: **Prili **Main **Personality test(vaiva) There are total 200 of objective questions in prili and if you passed priliminarythen you will be eligiable for main. There are many type of optional in main but if you are from Arts then in my opinion it will be better if you choose history or sociology as optional. And all of last after crack main you will be called for vaiva. Best of luck! |

Re: If i opt for Arts then which subjects should I choose in IAS?
first you have to be sure that u really wanna be an IAS/IFS. both exams conduct same time and paper also same... but one option is if you want to go IAS you may also try for CDS. for IAS Arts subject will be better option. you can choose any subject in your degree course but it would a small bit easy. and CDS is also a good option for INDIAN Army. Well me also preparing for CDS for the post of lft..
IAS me generally people tae subjects like history n public administration n all.......hence they generally take up arts........u hav no prob. wid dt.....i think dt wil b okay.......bt its nt necessarily like dt...........evn doctors n engg. giv IAS n come out wid flying colors.........my idea wil b--- take up comm. or sci. n keep a carrer on ur safe side coz IAS is nt evry1's cup f tea........1c u kno u r graduate wid an excellent degree u cn prepare for IAS....... |
