Indian citizen who is studying 10+2 in Saudi Arabia is eligible for EAMCET?


I am Indian Citizen, studying 10+2 in Saudi Arabia, CBSE. I am eligible or not for the EAMCET Exams in Tilangana State for the Engineering. Kindly advise.

Yes, you are eligible for EAMCET exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks from a recognized university with PCM or PCB subject are eligible for EAMCET exam.

Your age must be above 16 years.

Being an Indian citizen, you can apply for EAMCET exam.

But EAMCET exam is not conducted at foreign locations, so you will have to appear for exam from exam centres located in India itself.

Recently, EAMCET 2016 was conducted on 11 September, 2016.

There is no such notifications for EAMCET 2017 as of now.

Exam Pattern of EAMCET Exam:
  • Duration: 180 minutes
  • Total Questions: 160 questions of 1 mark each
  • There will be 40 questions from Physics, 40 questions from Chemistry and 80 questions from Mathematics.
  • All Questions will be Objective Type.
