GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination. This is entrance examination to get admission in courses like MBA, MS or doctoral degree from top recognized institutes of world in countries like USA, UK etc. GRE examination is conducted by Educational Trust Services.

GRE is computer based test. However it is also conducted in paper mode at centres where facility of computer is not available. It is of duration 3 hours and 40 minutes and there are six sections. Once three sections are over, break of 10 minutes is provided.

There are two tests inside it. General GRE Test included questions from verbal and quantitative reasoning, analytical writing skills etc. Second is GRE Subject test in which candidate's knowledge of his specific test is assessed.

GRE test is conducted once after each 21 days and maximum of 5 times a candidate can apply for GRE within a year. GRE Scores are valid for 5 years. For any more details about this exam, Click Here .
