MPSC (Maharashtra public service commission) is the authority to conduct Maharashtra State Civil Service Examination in the state.The MPSC exam schedules are available in the News papers like "Employment News" which published every week.
Eligibility:
For class-1 or class-2 officer - A candidate must be a graduate.
Age- age limit for General category is 33 years . For OBC & SC/ST/NT categories it is 35 to 38 years Respectively.
For PSI/STI/Assistant:- A candidate also complete a Bachelor degree.
Maximum Age limit :-For General - 33 year, FOR OBC- 35 year, For SC/ST/NT - 38 year.
The aspirant apply from the Entrance exam through On line/Off line mode.
The application form can be Downloaded from the web site of the MPSC , http://www.mpsc.gov.in/MPSC/indexe.jsp.The completed application form, attached with the relevant documents should be submitted along with the fees at the designated post offices.
The application form & prospectus is also available in the designated post office.The fees amount needs to be paid at the time of submitting application form in the post office.

MPSC - Maharashtra Public Service Commission

Maharashtra public service commission organizes the exam for the top administrative positions in the state of Maharashtra.
This included state level civil services exam and other state exams as well just like UPSC conducts central level examinations.

Eligibility for MPSC exam:

**Candidates are required to a degree in science or Engineering branch.

**Candidate age should be between 18 and 28 inclusive of both dates at the
exam date.

**There is a relaxation to OBC category as their maximum age to apply is 33

1) English (100 Marks) – Descriptive type questions
2) Marathi (100 Marks) – Descriptive type questions
3) General Studies Paper I (150 Marks) – Objective type questions (MCQs) – 2 hours
4) General Studies Paper II (150 Marks) – Objective type questions (MCQs) - 2 hours
5) General Studies Paper III (150 Marks) – Objective type questions (MCQs) - 2 hours
6) General Studies Paper IV (150 Marks) – Objective type questions (MCQs) - 2 hours

***Negative Marking for GS papers – For 2 wrong answers 1 mark will be cut.)

The candidate should be complete graduation or any equivalent bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

Candidate must be an Indian origin.

Final year graduation persuing students are also eligible.

Percentage is not a matter to apply this exam.

Final year graduation appearing students can also be eligible.
