Definition of Microbiology:

It is the subject that deals with study of micro-organisms :

~~Bacteria

~~Protozoal Parasites.

~~Viruses and Fungi.

Microbiology included various sub disciplines including virology, mycology, parasitology and bacteriology.

Scope of Microbiology:

Microbiology courses are offered at three levels Undergraduate level, post graduate level and PhD.

If you are studying in undergraduate course in microbiology, you can work as intern at science laboratories and pathology labs.

You can work in microbiology based industries like

>> Pharmaceutical industries.

>>Breweries.

>>Distelleries and Enzyme.

After few years of experience, you can also start your own pathology laboratory.
