ITI is Industrial Training Institute.

The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 10th from a recognised board.

The acronym ITI stands for Industrial Training Institute.

Academic qualification for course from ITI: Minimum requirement is 10th passed from a recognized board of India.

It clearly means that admission in ITI can be taken on basis of Secondary school certificate. 12th qualification is not necessary for ITI course.

No, it is not compulsory to have intermediate or 12th qualification to get admission in ITI.

Candidate passed 10th are eligible to appear in entrance examination conducted by government and private institutes for admission in the course.

So, you can appear for entrance examination to get admission in the course if you have passed 10th.

Intermediate is not compulsory for admission in Industrial Training Institute course. The qualification required is tenth from a recognized board.

You can surely take admission based on SSC that is secondary school certificate only.
