ITI course for Indian railways loco pilot
Dear, Sir/madam, I am passed my 12 the class from arts stream with 65% mark can l eligible for ITI courses for Indian railways loco pilot job. Sir/madam Please reply my question soon.

You can choose any of the given below course for your ITI to become loco pilot in future:
Mechanic Motor Vehicle Heat Engine Refrigeration and AC mechanic Electrician Instrument Mechanic Turner Electronics Mechanic Mechanist As per the requirement of the job ITI holders of few streams are followed to appear the recruitment exam conducted by Railway Recruitment Board. |

Indian Railways generally recuits ITI holders for the post of loco pilot. As per the requirement of the job ITI holders of few streams are allowed to appear the recruitment exam conducted by railway recruitment board.
List of such ITI trades which are eligible to apply for loco pilot:- Mechanic Motor Vehicle Fitter Wireman Tractor Mechanic Mechanic Radio and TV Mechanic Diesel Tractor Mechanic Heat Engine Electronics Mechanic Turner Electrician Instrument Mechanic Choose a course from above list as per your interest. |

To become loco pilot you must complete ITI degree after matriculation or 12th pass can also apply for the job of railway loco pilot.
ITI degree must be obtained from any of the stream of electrical, automobile from a mechanical from a instrument mechanic. List of ITI trades: > Mechanic motor vehicle > Fitter > wireman > Turner > Mechanic radio and TV > Mechanic diesel > Heat engine |

Yes, you can pursue ITI course as the minimum educational qualification for ITI is matriculation. After completion of ITI course you can apply for the Assistant Loco Pilot job. Yes, you are eligible to study ITI because there is no such eligibility percentage for doing ITI course. The full details about the course are mentioned below.
ITI (Industrial Training Institute) is a vocational training course which is conducted under the DGET (Directorate General of Employment and Training). This course generally builds Skill development through which you can get jobs in government and private sectors. ITI training courses are called as trades. There are different types of courses in ITI based on the sectors. This course duration is 6 months to 2 years. The duration depends on the type of course you have chosen. There are two type of courses. 1. Engineering course: This course mainly teaches you about the technical things like mathematics, science and technology. 2. Non-engineering course: This course will teach you the non technical things like soft skills, languages, sector specific skills and knowledge. The eligibility criteria for the ITI course varies depending on the type of course you choose. In general the candidate who have completed 8th class to 12th class are eligible to study ITI courses. There is no minimum percentage required to study ITI course the candidate should just complete their education without failing. There is an entrance test conducted by the ITI institute and they will recruit the candidates who will be in the merit list of the exam. |

Of course you can join any ITI to pursue career in Loco Pilot, the minimum criteria prescribed for admission to ITI courses are passed in 10+2 which is considered as the maximum qualification requirement where as minimum is class VIII pass.
You need not to worry much, very your nearest ITI centre and enrol yourself and they will provide a date for your joining and accordingly the course will be get initiated and the rest will be taken cared by the ITI institution. |

ITI certificate courses are eligible to apply Assistant Loco Pilot and Technican jobs in Indian Railway.
