JECA MCA after PGDCA and Chemistry Honors?
Dear Sirs / Madams,
I did chemistry hons. in the year 1994 with 45.5% marks. I completed PGDCA in the year 1997 from Regional computer centre, Jadavpur University Campus. I want to attend JECA for MCA. Am I eligible for the same? If yes, I want syllbus with 10 years question papers. To get the same what is the procedure. Waiting for your favourable response. Eligibility criteria
To apply for JECA a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with Maths/Statistics as a subject. Those in the final year of their graduation can also apply. There is no age limit for applying in this course. Important Dates(Tentative): Date of Entrance Examination:June End, 2010 Availability of Application Forms: May 2nd Week-4th Week, 2010 Last Date for receipt of completed application forms:June 1st week, 2010 Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released. Important details for the examination:- • The test will be conducted in last week of June. • Timing for the examination will be from 12 Noon to 2:30 PM. • The JECA examination is divided into parts :- 1. Part A : -Aptitude test (100 marks for 1 hour) 2. Part B : -Mathematics (100 marks for 1 and ½ hour) Syllabus: (i) Reasoning (ii) Problem Solving (iii) Quantitative Comparison (iv) Discrete Quantitative Analysis (v) Data Interpretation. well i hope this information helps you and you will be able to figure out weather you are eligible or not.. good luck. bye take care... |

JECA is a written entrance test conducted by the
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. It is conducted for the admission of students to MCA course offered by the various institutions in West Bengal. Private Engineering colleges, Universities, Government colleges and some of the institutes in West Bengal offer full time MCA course. you can visit official website and also visit studentsindia.com syllabus and eligibility can be obtained |

my friend, these are the eligiblity creteria for apply in JECA for MCA-
Only Indian candidates are applicable for this Course. Only those candidates can apply who have completed their bachelor’s degree or are pursuing the same in the final year from any reputed University. There is no age limit for applying into this course............ |

Yes you are eligible to apply for JECA entrance for admission to MCA course in different West Bengal institutes. The minimum eligibility to apply for this entrance is to pass graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. You must have maths as a main subject in your 10(+2). As you have done chemistry honors graduation you are eligible to apply for JECA. All the best! |

I am pursuing BCA course, currently in 3rd year with ygpa 8.In my (10 2) result in ISC I scored 76% with science stream. My MATHS marks was 21.My question is whether I am eligible for JECA, NIMCET, and other MCA entrance exams.
