HI,

I have done my BTECH in Computers and have 2.6 years of Experience in INFOSYS company. I want to pursue my job in Gov sector hence forth but have no idea about what kind of JOBS are available for me in Gov sector.

I am looking in Airlines or Railways.

Can you guide me on this?

GOVT AND PRIVATE JOB AFTER B-TECH IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING

You have completed your B-TECH in COMPUTER SCIENCE. But your graduation marks is must be 60% above because below mention organization have criteria is above 60% in graduation . This percentage is vary from organization to organization.

So you have many options to go like govt sector ,private sector or higher study also.

The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO ,BSNL TTA ,NIC ,IOCLetc.The age limit for those organization is maximum 30 years . Age relaxation provide only for SC/ST /OBC candidate.

The another govt sector jobs are BANK PO and HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER jobs.

Also you are eligible in private sector also . the private sector company are TCS , CTS ,IBM,HP,L&T,ALUNUS ,WIPRO etc.

The higher study options are MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,JRF ,SRF ,PHD etc.

Also you must be qualify in GATE ,CAT,MAT exam.

Dear Friend, there are lots of jobs in Government sector for B.Tech.(computer) holder. you have very nice experience of 2.6 years in INFOSYS. but for applying for Govt. jobs you have to wait for the post declare by Indian Government in your required field as you mention for Airlines or Railways. after that there will be exam for that particular post and in that exam eligibility criteria is graduate in there required field, so if you have worked with any company or u have good work experience that does not meter until you clear the exam. You have made a right decision of entering in to government sector. Lot of opportunities is there for you in public sector. You can get jobs in Indian railway under signal section. You can find many vacancies apt for you in exams conducted by RRB (Railway Recruitment Board). There are options for you in AAI (Airport Authority of India). Many more job opportunities are available for you in SAIL, BSNL, DRDO, UPSC, CDS etc.

there is so many jobs in govt sector for the students who done their graduatin from b.tec stream you can apply for railway clerk, agriculture department bt atleast 55 percent yot hd got in graduatin you take form from lakshmi nagar

after doing B.Tech in CSE,you can easily try various Govt. sector.there are:
BSNL,IOCL,RAIL,PWC,NTPC,DVC,ONGC,BHEL,ONGC,etc..
for apply these exams,you should have min 60% marks in your B.Tech degree.

The computer graduates have plenty of jobs in government sector.You should completed graduation in any recognised university with an minimum 60% aggregate.The age limit for government jobs is 21-30 years.The government jobs which you can apply are

Air force etc.
