i m pursuing btech completed from gujarat university.
my current aggregate is 70%(approx).
i want to know about where i m eligible at present as a graduate from btech
from Electronics and Communication engineering?
especially in the government sector?
i would be thankful if you could reply as soon as possible.

You have several job options after B.tech in the government jobs. You can apply for the PSU exams. This will help you to get in to government companies such as NTPC, BHEL, SAIL, etc. You can also apply for the various exams which are conducted by the UPSC and SSC. IES, civil service exam are some of these exams. You can also attend the bank exams. You can apply for positions of PO, clerk etc.

what are core companies for E&C which is hiring freshers? please reply as soon as possible .

If you have completed B.Tech. then you will be eligible for many government jobs .

For PSU jobs you have to qualify GATE then only you will be considered for job.

PSU recruits engineers on the basis of GATE score . Hence if you are GATE qualified then it will be very good for you because jobs in PSU are one of the best options for Engineers.

PSU are companies like GAIL, SAIL, BHEL, NTPC etc. These are government companies and one of the most sought out job for Engineers.

You can apply for IES exam which is conducted by UPSC every year. The age required for IES exam is between 21 to 30 years if you are General Category. There is age relaxation available for other categories based on the government rules and regulations.

You can also apply for Bank Specialist officer post as Engineer post. The exam is conducted by IBPS every year . You can apply for it if you want to join Banking sector as Engineer.

There are many options but you have to beat the competition to get the job. So be prepared for the examination if you want to get the government job.

Hi, if you want to join the government companies for the jobs, then you must give IES, Indian engineering services. By clearing the IES, you will be able to get into the core government companies like ntpc, bhel, bsnl, sail etc.
For applying IES, you should be having a minimum aggregate 60percent in your engineering. And your age should be in 21-30 years.

There are lots of opportunity of the Electronics and Communications Engineers in the government sector. Since your percentage is quite healthy, start hunting for the jobs from Public Sector Undertakings.

The Public Sector Undertakings are government controlled companies. The government has minimum of 51 percent stake in these companies. The area of function is different for each company. Some work in construction while other has expertise in telecommunications, oil explorations etc.

These companies do not have any common entrance exam. Which means you will have to apply for all individually. The procedure is that PSU releases a notification, excessable through their official website as well leading newspapers. In case there is vacancies mentioned for your stream, follow the procedure to apply for the job.


Eligibility

1. Only Indian citizens are eligible for PSU job.

2. Must have B.Tech/B.E. degree from recognized university.

3. Minimum of 60 percent marks in the course.

4. There should be no pending backlogs at the time of applying.

5. There might be a requirement of valid GATE score.

6. The age limit to apply for job is 21 to 30 years.

7. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

The other option for you is Indian Engineering Service exam which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. It is conducted for jobs in various government departments. There are jobs for Electronics and Communications Engineers in the Indian Engineering Service to apply.
