Dear,

Wipro and Infosys hire students from all branches of engineering for the post of system engineer or software engineer which is a level 3 employee in the industry. So ECE students will also get the same designation.

Reason behind it is that the training process of these companies specially of infosys is of world class. Its tough but proper and excellent. If you qualify their training you learn enough to sustain in the industry for that post. Mainly CS/IT students have less training period than non IT branches like ECE and mechanical. But salary package and job profile is same for all.

Eligibility criteria to apply in these companies is 60% overall i.e. in 10th, 12th and B.tech.
