1) I want to know what are the job 'positions' available for a PG student in biotechnology..
2) certificate courses available for biotechnology students...

Prospect of biotechnologists in India is good,you can work in pharmaceutical companies in technical post,in laboratories as a developer,as a junior scientist,as a research officer etc.

you can do certificate in 'industrial oriented' courses in industrial application of biotechnilogy,there are also few advance diploma programs for biotechnilogy degree holders etc.

hey you are a PG holder in biotechnology then you can:

1)get into any govt. or private research labs. in india.

2)you can apply for various agro-based industries like CARI and NARI.

3)you can also get into any software company,if you like.and become asoftware developer also.

4)you can apply for some higher studies related to your field in india or abroad.

5)and finally since you are a graduate,so you can also do mba and get into some good mnc's.

you can get jobs in

biotechnology graduates have good scope in job opportunities .. being a pg holder you can work as technician , scientist ....

With a Post graduate degree in biotechnology you are eligible to apply to any government and private research labs in India. There are many agro-based industries to which you can enter into. Many software companies also recruit candidates from this field. Another option is to go for higher studies like Ph.D. If you are interested in the management field then MBA is another good option.
