dear friend,
first of all, you will have to clear your carryover papers because you will not be able to get a job with pending subjects in b.tech. after clearing your exams, you can apply for the jobs online. you cam also post your resume on
www.monster.com
www.naukri.com
they will find a suitable job for you

You must have to wait till your all exam will clear.Or if you have provisional letter from the college then you can apply for job.

hi!

The eligibility criteria for engineering freshers in most of the MNCs is as follows:
1. 60% through out applicant's academic life i.e. 10th, 12th & BTech
2. No current backlogs.

But there are some MNCs which provide exception to these eligibility requirements. That is they allow candidates with less than 60% marks in their academic life or candidates with backlogs to appear in their recruitment drive.

These companies allow candidates having backlog to apply for their recruitment procedure & if selected candidates are required to clear all their backlogs before joining or before the given time limit.

well to be frank its gonna be really difficult for you in this situation, what you can do is to try and get a job through some contacts... meanwhile work towards clearing you papers
don't try hard for big companies, they ask for clear records... and dont worry some years later with workex in you hands their doors will also open.
cheerup, life has its plans ,just do some networking,
wishes

hello everyone can anyone ans me that i'd pass my btech in the year 2011 from UTTAR PRADESH TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY(UPTU) but i've a pending back in 5th sem n failed to clear it. i'll have to give that exam to clear that back in the december month n will get degree in the year 2012. is there would be mentioned in the degree that you have completed BTECH in five years i.e. 2007-2012. coz that would be a bad impression in my carrier.

Am a junior web-developer at an MNC in Gurgaon with 1 backlog result pending.
Just search for the job and join it.
Some companies to a background check, i told them i got a PENDING Result which will come in a few months.
They told me to join it.
