When is the last date for applying in the Gate exam? Could you please tell me the date of it as soon as possible?

GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The GATE 2016 is conducted by the IISC, Bangalore and the important dates for this exam is as below:

>>Start Date of Online application: 01/09/2015.

>>Earlier the last date of online application was 01/10/2015 but later on it was extended to 08/10/2015. The date for payment for registered candidate is 12/10/2015.s

You can download your admit card from 17/12/2015. The examination will be conducted on 30 and 31st January, 2016 and 06 and 07 February 2016.

The full form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. IIT or IISC conduct this exam for post graduate degree in technology which is commonly called Master of Technology.

The eligibility criteria for this exam is bachelor's degree in technology or engineering or master's degree in science, computer applications etc from AICTE or UGC approved institutes. Those who are studying in final year of these courses can also apply for the exam.

GATE 2016 will be conducted by the IISC. The online application for this exam started from 1st of September, 2015 and the last date for online application was earlier 1st of October but later on it was extended upto 8th of October. The last date for fee payment is 12th October.

This exam is conducted online and is of three hours duration.

GATE 2016 IMPORTANT DATES:

- Online application process begin from : 1st September 2015.

- Last date for submission of online application through website: 8th October 2015.

- Availability of admit card : 17th December 2015.

- GATE online examination : January 30th to February 7th 2016.

- Announcement of result : 19th March 2016.

Important dates for GATE 2016

Start of Online Application: September 1, 2015
Last Date for form Submission Date: October 8, 2015
Gate Online exam date: 30th January to 7th February

GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and it is the examination conducted by the IIT every year or by the IISc for the admission of the candidates in the M.tech courses.

The examination is also important for those who want to get the recruitment in the PSU's. The examination is CBT and the last date of the application was 8th October 2015.


The examination is generally conducted in the month of January and February on the different date for the different stream candidates. So if you have not filled the application you can't appear in the examination but start the preparation for the examination.

The entrance exam Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for M.Tech admission in 2016 will be conducted by the IISC, Bangalore. IISC released the notification for the exam in September and according to which online application started from 01/09/2015.

The last date for online application for the GATE exam was 8th October, 2016.

If you have not applied for the exam then there is no chance to apply for this exam in 2016. You should wait for the next year exam.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an all India examination which is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IIT's.

The last date for online application of GATE 2016 is already over as it was 8th of October, 2015 when it was extended from 1st of October to 8th October. You can not apply for the exam now.

GATE 2016 will be conducted on 30/01/2016, 31/01/2016, 06/02/2016 and 07/02/2016.

The eligibility criteria for appearing in this entrance exam is to have either B.E./B.tech degree or MSc degree from a recognised university with good percentages.
