SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices. This SCRA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.

The competition for this exam is too high but the number of job opportunities are very less.

For this academic year, the SCRA Exam was conducted by UPSC.

If you are interested in appearing for SCRA Exam, you can appear for upcoming SCRA Exam which is going to be conducted in the next academic year.

SCRA Exam 2012 Application Last Date

The SCRA Online application form 2012 can be filled upto 21st November, 2011 till 11.59 P.M. after which the link will be disabled.

SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) examination is conducted by UPSC every year once.

Eligibility criteria for SCRA examination:
Education qualification:
Candidate should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from any recognized university.
Age limit:
Age should be between 17 to 21 years.

SCRA examination notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 15th Oct 2011 to 14th Nov 2011.
Exam will held on 29th Jan 2012.

Procedure to apply the application form:

>> Take the print of the part-1 registration form and pay the amount in bank
>> Bank will provide number,that number should enter in part2 registration

Last date for the receipt of completely filled Application forms (for the students residing in remote areas or abroad): within the month of March, 2012

Examination starts from: June 1st week, 2012

Last Date To Submit SCRA Forms

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice..

This is considered to be a really difficult exam in terms of selection as only 50 candidates from all over India are finally selected from this exam..

The last date for form submission for the SCRA exam 2012 is 21st November,2011 so you should better hurry up..

the SCRA exam shall be conducted on 29th January,2012..

Eligibility Criteria :-

1) You should be not less than 17 years and not more than 20 years of age as on 1st august,2012

2) You should have passed out your 12th with Physics,Chemistry and Maths as your subjects..

Exam Pattern :-

The written will be of 600 marks and will test your elementary knowledge of the subjects English,Maths and Science..

SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICE [SCRA]



This is the engineering entrance examination in railway , conducted by the UPSC [UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION].This examination is the one of the toughest examination is the India, due to its huge amount of syllabus ,.
The syllabus for this examination is from the class standard of 8th,9th,10,11th & 12th,.

The paper 2nd & 3rd i.e. PHYSICS-CHEMISTRY & MATHS ,is from the syllabus 11th & 12th.

This examination has three papers of 200 marks of 2 hours each.

the 1st paper consist of the GENERAL ABILITY,ENGLISH,SOCIAL STUDY(HISTORY,GEOGRAPHY,CIVICS etc).

The 2nd paper consist of PHYSICS & CHEMISTRY of class 11th & 12th.

And the paper third one,contains the questions of the mathematics of 11th & 12th.
