The application form of Tamil Nadu common Entrance Test for MCA will be available from 01-02-2012
The last date of submitting the application form at the Chennai Center will be 25-02-2012.
The test for MCA has been scheduled on 31-03-2012

TANCET :- Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test and this examination is conducted by Anna University every year to admission for MBA,MCA,M.E,M.Tech course in various college like Government,Government-Aided,Self-finance colleges.

Important dates :-

Date of Commencement of Registration :- 01/02/12
Last date for registration at co-ordinating centers and registration through Online :- 23/02/12
Last date for registration at Chennai Center and receipt of completed application :- 25/02/12
TANCET MCA Entrance Test :- 31/03/12

Eligibility Criteria to apply for this examination :-

The candidate need to passed graduate degree of a recognized University or equivalent qualification and the candidate must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in their examination(45% aggregate marks is given to the reserved categories).The candidate who are appearing in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for TANCET examination.

Cost of application form :- 500/- (250/- for SC/ST/SCA candidates belongs to Tamil Nadu).

Syllabus of this examination :-

-Quantitative Aptitude
-Analytical ability
-Logical reasoning
-Computer awareness

Note :- A few questions may also be on verbal activity,basic Science...etc.

1. Educational Qualification :

Minimum 12th pass candidate with English and P.C.M. (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) from any recognized board of Maharashtra are eligible for this.

Generally in the month of February(last week) or in the first week of March and the result is published in the month of May.
