Company Secretary exams are held twice a year ( JUNE and DECEMBER( and you can obtain the application forms in the ICSI chapter of your locality ( Check the locality details on www.icsi.edu).

First be clear whether you want to start right from foundation or from executive course.
In case you have completed a UG course you are eligible directly for the executive course without writing the foundation exam. You just have to apply for a postal tutorial for the foundation course.

The executive course falls under 2 groups with 3 subjects in each group. To be eligible for both the groups you have to complete a 6 month postal or oral coaching. From 2010, it is mandatory that you also complete APTECH course and obtain a certificate for the same.

To be eligible for both the groups the last date for submitting the application is FEB 28. you have to obatin a DD of 7250 ( for executive) in favor of ICSI, New delhi, you may either courier it or produce the same in any of the chapters. I have submitted in the Bangalore chapter and i obtained the course material on the same day. In case you courier you application you will get your books by post.

If in case you want to appear for JUNE 2011 exam then you would be able to enroll only for one group as you need to go through coaching for 3 subjects.

For further details refer the attachment. Though this is for 2010 you can still rely on this data as the dates does not change that variably.
