The last date to submit the application form for the NDA I, 2012 is 30-01-2012.
The examination will be conducted on 15.04.2012.

NDA is the National Defense Academy and it is an All India Examination which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) once every year to select or rather recruit candidates for the Class 1 Officer posts of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.


If you wish to appear in the NDA exam, then first of all you have to satisfy the Eligibility Conditions which are as follows :::

• You should be an Unmarried Male Indian National

• Your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years as in the year of applying in NDA.

• You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board in India. No minimum percentage is specified.

• You should have studied Maths and Physics in your HS, for being eligible to apply for the Naval and Air Force wings.

• Your physical fitness should be fine and perfect. No relaxation is provided in this criteria.

The Important Dates for NDA are :

1. Date of Notification - 31st December 2011.

2. Last date to submit the filled application - 30th January 2012.

3. Date of the exam - 15th April 2012 (Sunday).

Dear Aspirant

NDA is National Defense Academy & through NDA you can go into Indian Army, NAVY & Air force Just after passing 12th Standard.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year as NDA I & NDA II Exam.

"NDA is for unmarried Male candidates only"

To join NDA your age must be between 16.5 to 19 years.

If you interested in Air Force & NAVY then you must pass 12th with Physics & Mathematics as a subject.

The selection process for NDA contain 3-stages->

Exam Pattern& syllabus for NDA written test:
-------------------------------------------

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.
