The pattern is fully changed there is no s ections.
Only 35 questions for 1hour that too online test.
very very tough.
Negative marking also there (0.33/wrong ans).

the best way to prepare for tcs exam is to be perfect in the barrons gre text book,because almost all the questions in the written exam are asked from this only.
also the general pattern is that it consists of vocabulary,quant,reasoning,
more emphasis is laid upon reading passages and questions on them,its an computer based exam and time is 45 minutes

The exam pattern of TCS aptitude test consists of following 3 sections:

Verbal aptitude
quantitative aptitude
reasoning

Verbal aptitude - This Test contains questions on Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion etc.

Aptitude Test - This test will consist of very general questions. Almost 70-80 % Questions will be repeated from the Previous TCS Papers

Reasoning - It is the toughest section. Here time management is very important.

You can refer the following books:
– Quantitative aptitude by R.S.Agarwal
- verbal & non verbal reasoning by R.S.Agarwal
- GRE Baron’s 12th Edition

you need to have strong base on higher senior secondary/senior secondary subjects, along with good english communication skill, aptitude reasoning etc..
i.e Mathematics(probability,sets..), science,english....
