Various PSUs like BARC, NTPC, ISRO ask candidates to take Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) before applying for entry level jobs in these companies. Last year largest fuel retailer in the country IOC recuruted 200 engineers on the basis of their socres at GATE.

Gate card is just For Entry into Various IIT's for Higher studies in respective Departments.

You need to study you respective branch with ease and hard work.

just scoring better in gate should not be primary goal.... 1st you should decide what you want then accordingly manage your resources........ if you want to do M.tech from IITs then score should be 99+ . i know some students participates in gate just because their friends also take part... so this thing should be very clear...after this all things beome easy by itself.....
