There is no limitation on discipline of 10+2 or graduation to appear for bank PO recruitment entrance examination.

So, you are eligible to pursue any course of your interest in degree but you need to appear and qualify in the entrance examination conducted by IBPS, SBI etc.. for final selection.

The examination is conducted in three stages as Prelims, Main and Interview. To get more details about examination visit at www.ibps.in.

For being a bank PO ( Probationary officer ) of any nationalized bank of India after your Class 12th you will first have to complete your graduation with any stream ( even with passing marks ) from a recognized university and then after you will have to clear its respective entrance examination such as IBPS bank PO examination, SBI bank PO examination.

--> To be eligible for either of these entrance examination, you must have the qualifications mentioned below :-

* You must have the citizenship of India with your age lying within 21 years to 30 years in case you belong to general category as age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

* You must have completed your bachelor degree course with any discipline of your interest from a recognized university.

* You must have good communication skills along with knowledge of working on computers as the banking works are more often than not digital.

Both these examinations are held in three stages which includes Written examination, Mains and Personality Assessment Test ( interview ) respectively.
