Yes, M.Phil is UGC approved but no college in India provides the M.Phil and P.hd through distance learning courses.

M.Phil (Master of Philosophy) is a 2 years post graduation level degree.

Vinayak Mission University is also known as Vinayak Mission Research Foundation. It offers different level degrees in different subjects through regular mode & distance mode of education. This university is a well recognised university by NAAC, UGC DEC and AICTE.
Any university offering distance education and if the university is recognised by UGC DEC (United Grants Commission Distance Education Council) then the degree from that university is valid everywhere.
