Hello I have completed M.Sc Nursing in Psychiatric Nursing. Can I apply or am I eligible for NET exam in Social Medicine and Community Health? I want an urgent answer, please.

You have completed M.Sc in Nursing, So you are eligible for UGC NET exam in Social Medicine and Community Health.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC.

Those candidate who have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. For SC/ST candidate its hold 50% above in masters degree.

Age criteria for NET exam:-

For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years.

For Lectureship Post :-There are no age criteria.

yes, You can apply for the UGC NET Exam.

Candidates who have completed the post graduation degree from the reputed university with more than 55% marks can apply for the UGC NET examination.
there is no age limit criteria for the assistant professor.

However, final year candidates may also apply but they will be able to avail the NET certificate after the successful completion of the master's degree.

the candidates are allowed to apply for the UGC NET in theri post graduation subject. if graduation subject is not available then you may apply for the nearly related subjects.

As you are student of the MSc Nursing, you may apply for the UGC NET social medicine & Community health.
