Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
@ram
If you wants to do a government job in future then M.Tech is much better option for you as compared to any other course after completing your B.E. course. But getting admission in a good college is also an important aspect. |

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
hi rajneesh !
whether u do mtech or mba is purely gonna be ur choice. if u r more inclined towards d technology den gettin an in depth knowledge in mtech wud be a gud option. on the other hand if u r more business oriented nd looking for analysing d business logics den mba wud be a good option for u. remember 3 thngs v carefully - 1) do not follow d herd by doing watevry1 else is doin, without havin a proper idea nd interest. 2) do join some good nd reputable institution for sure 3) nd last but not d least watever u do, do it 4 sure !!!!!! |

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
Both are valuable its your option in which field you want to opt for .your interest matters and your performance ultimately pays you. so if you are good enough in management go for mba and if you want technology knowledge opt for mtech.

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
For m. tech u need to take GATE which is much more easier than CAT.
Also,m.tech is just mastering the thing u studied in b. tech,so its easy,u can go for research also. after MBA u will get most job in management field , so it may not give u job satisfaction. but interest also count . its all on yours . Good Luck |

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
Hi ram, no-one can suggest which is best and which is good in studies because they have equal weight in their fields so first you want to know which is suitable for you technical or management, and then pick your best and shine in that field .so don't confuse which is best but try to find which field you can do the best .that makes the different.
I wish u all the best for your higher studies. |

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
hey ram,
Both examination are good and both have same level.it is very hard to decide which is best. It is depend on your decision because in which field do you want to go.If you want to go in technical field than you want to select M.Tech or you want to go in management field than CAT for it. so please select your target.if you have good talent than you can earn more money in both field. best of luck.... |

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
Ram both are good in their respect for BE student,it depends upon ur field of interest ,if you want to be in technical side then go for mtec and if you are interested in management then go for mba, basically by doing Mtech u hav lots of opportunity in teaching field and some govt. exams not all govt. exams.everything is depend upon u area of interested, bcoz every specialization is good in their own respect, the thing is that we have to decide our priorities.

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
both the field are good but we have to decide the area of interest whether you have to go in technical field or management field. BE+MBA sounds good besides from this M-TECH gives you a better opportunity in govt. jobs as well as in teaching line.....

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
Well Ram..u need to decide it yourself what kind of job would you like to work in. If you are interested in doing a marketing sort of job then you should definitely go for an MBA. But if you are more inclined towards learning your subject even better, then don't forget to applying in GATE 2010 for M Tech. Give yourself some time to analyze and then do what your inner says!

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
Well it depends on you.
If you want to be an expert only in your technical line , then M.TECH is gud. And if want to develop your technical personality or your qualities along with ur attitude to face ur competitors then M.B.A. |

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
M.Tech and MBA both are good options after B.E..
Selecting between these two option is like choosing between equals If you have good knowledge of computers and enjoying doing that then go for M.Tech and if want to go for some differnt like business management then MBA is a good option. |

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
M.tech is better only when you have a great interest in your field, because masters in any field requires great effort and dedication.
and once you can deliver that dedication then you will have great opportunities in your future career ,with respect to both job prospectus and research field. but if you have less interest in your b.tech field then i suggest you to go for MBA,because this is the demand of the hour, and you can earn name, fame and money in a very short time. |

Re: M.tech. vs MBA for B.E. students
Earn money and live fast- MBA
Earn respect and live peacefully- MTECH this global recession thing has ensured one thing..that the Btech students who are passing out these 2-3 years dont get a permanent job..it will take quite a lot of skill and a lot of luck to hang on to ur job..anyway my top priority now is to pass all papers in BTech and think of other options later |
