TANCET
TANCET stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test Exam which is conducted
for admission in MBA, MCA and M.Tech. courses.
The examination is conducted by Anna University and its score is valid in all the
colleges under Anna University.

GATE
GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
The organizing body can be any one of the following institutions.
Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru
Indian Institute of Technology Bombay
Indian Institute of Technology Delhi
Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati
Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur
Indian Institute of Technology Madras
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee

GATE score can be used for admission in M.Tech. in any of the above institutions,
all National Institute of Technology (NITs) and many more govt./private institutions.
Also GATE score shall be the basis of recruitment in three major PSUs of India which are;
NTPC, BHEL and IOCL.
If you want to use GATE score for recruitment in any of the above mentioned PSUs,
you will have apply for them separately but you have to appear for only one exam i.e. GATE.
On the basis of GATE score candidates will be called for Interview.

The important difference between the two exam is that GATE is an entrance and aptitude exam for the bachelor degree holders in Engineering who wish to apply for their Masters degree.Moreover GATE is national level exam through which you can get into colleges in India based on your marks in the entrance.

TANCET is Tamilnadu state level exam for admission into MCA,MBA,ME to the colleges affiliated to Anna university.the colleges are limited when compared to GATE and it is common paper for all the courses.

i want to know that gate is best or TANCET is best to do ME in tamilnadu

which job we can do by writing this gate exam
