Sir, i want to become an astronaut and i want to know about the marks i need to get in 12th to get admission in some good govt. institutes. I also want to get some names of good institutes for aeronautics.

To be an Astronaut you need to take admission in the programs related to aerospace engineering or aeronautical engineering from some recognized and reputed government institution like IIT's or IIST.

To take admission in IIT's you can take IIT JEE examination conducted by IIT's for engineering programs and can opt for the programs of your interest.

You can also take admission in IIST by qualifying the IIST entrance exam. From their you can directly get a job at ISRO as a scientist or as an engineer. You can also get to NASA by the help of some useful scholarship programs.

For appearing in these exams you need to qualify 12th board or equivalent exams form some recognized board or university with science subject and have an aggregate above 60%. Below this requirement you are not allowed to take admission in any of these institutes.

can i get admission for aeronautical engg jsut getting gud percentage in cbse boards..??
