Re: Marks needed in PCM group to get admission in Aeronautics?
Dear Friend
The eligibility criteria varies from college to college. For doing such course from IIST Tiruvananthpuram, you should have at least 70% marks in PCM. Those(GEN category) who are having less than 70% in PCM in 12th, are not eligible for IIST entrance test. For doing Aerospace Engineering from an IIT (Bombay, Kanpur, Madras, Kharagpur) one should have at least 60% in 12th (not necessarily in PCM) so that he/she can be eligible for IIT-JEE entrance test. If you try to get admission in some college through AIEEE, the you should have at least 50% in 12th (not necessarily in PCM). Further there are many private college that offer direct admission or admission through some other entrance exam or their personal entrance exam. In that case the eligibility criteria is generally 60% in PCM (or in 12th). |

dear friend,
Eligibility for Aeronautical engineering:- *You must have complete the 12th or intermediate with 50% marks in PCM.. This is the basic criteria to apply for Aeronautical engineering.. Now, different institutes have different percentage criteria.. So, it will be better for you to go and check the percentage criteria of that particular institute in which you want to take admission.. All the best. |

Re: Marks needed in PCM group to get admission in Aeronautics?
Hello,
The eligibility criteria to get admission in aeronautics are- *Minimum of 60 % marks in PCM in 10+2. *Then you will be able to appear for entrance exams like IIT-JEE and AIEEE. Through this exam you can get admission to aeronautics. Then there are many private institutions also which take candidates having 50 % aggregate of PCM in 10+2. All the best |
